(a) Acting as your Buyer’s Agent and performing my obligations under this Agreement;

Communications may include service-related updates, market insights, educational content, promotional materials, and information about my services;

(c) Promoting my services and/or seeking potential clients, which may include limited use of testimonials, reviews, or written statements for advertising on my website, marketing materials, or public displays. Your prior written consent will be obtained where required;

(d) Disclosing personal information to other parties only when reasonably necessary to perform my duties, achieve the purposes described above, or as otherwise permitted or required by law, including under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);

(e) Ensuring compliance with legal obligations, regulatory requirements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of myself, my clients, or others.

 

2. Consent to Marketing

 

2.1. By submitting your details or entering into this Agreement, you consent to receive marketing communications from Acquired Buyers Advocacy, including emails, newsletters, updates, and other electronic communications.

2.2. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe facility provided in these communications. Unsubscribing does not affect communications necessary to provide you with services under this Agreement.

 

3. Access and Correction

 

3.1. You may request access to the personal information I hold about you and request corrections to any information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.

3.2. Requests should be made in writing to [insert contact email].

3.3. I will respond to access or correction requests within a reasonable timeframe, as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

 

4. Data Security and Retention

 

4.1. I take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

4.2. Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

9.2. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the processing of personal information necessary to provide you with services under this Agreement.
